It all started on Wednesday, while I was driving down the road I saw this adorable little market with rows and rows of tiny pumpkins sitting outside. We already had our pumpkins for each family member sitting at home on our front porch waiting to be carved, but those were different. Those were big, huge lumpy pumpkins. These pumpkins were Josie sized!
So I pulled in to get one for Josie, and ended up leaving with three - and the perfect idea for a fun little art project!
Just look at that happy little pumpkin dance!! She was SO excited when I got home, she played with her tiniest little pumpkin until bed (and cried dramatically when I took it away).
As we're moving into November, I am becoming more and more aware of how little time I have left with Josie as my one and only little girl! She will always be my first born, but too soon will come the days when she needs to fight for attention from her newborn sibling who needs so much extra love and care. Josie is really starting to get to the age where she is enjoying expressing her creativity more and more, and it's so much fun to watch. So I knew a pumpkin painting session would be the perfect way to have some fun being creative and silly together!
So one quick trip to Target later, we put on some old clothes and got messy!
Overall - so much fun, for everyone involved! I cannot believe how lucky we are that we could spend yesterday outside (in short sleeves!) and enjoy the beautiful fall colors! Thanks so much for reading, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
